Since the hit television show MadMen gained popularity in 2007, people often associate ad agencies with large teams of ad execs in tailored suits, beautiful secretaries and lots of bourbon. Yet today this couldn’t be farther from the truth.
Today, ad agencies are starting to go virtual – eliminating account men, 10-person client teams and brick and mortar buildings all together.
Radio Lounge had the chance to sit down with Greg Henderson (that’s him to the left…in his younger days!), President of RedRocket Connect, one of the first agencies in the country to virtually address the needs of clients with the offerings of a full service ad agency. Henderson and partner terry Followell opened the “virtual” doors back in 2011, with results that have been game changing.
Listen and learn how this virtual agency has solved issues the marketing industry faces today, regarding scarcity of talent, unprecedented budget pressure, the compression of initiation to launch, and the expanding distance between agency expertise and the client.
