People like stuff, especially when it’s free. People however, don’t like junk. The free stuff needs to matter to a consumer and be relevant in engagement for future purchases. So when you hear of a business with a free product offer, you might be skeptical but you’ll probably investigate. In the new book by Chris Anderson (author of The Long Tail) free is hot stuff.
